Designed by Changduk Kim and Youngki Hong, The Universal Toilet is equally usable by all members of society. The inclusive design includes a separate chest board for wheelchair users to lean against, which removes the social stigma associated with separate disabled toilets and thereby prevents people from feeling singled out due to their disability. Another excellent design feature of The Universal Toilet is that it conserves water by recycling the water used in the attached sink.  Its major feature is its adaptability to both the disabled and non-disabled through the dual-function backboard and chest board. It also offers considerable space efficiencies, requiring only a quarter of the space of a standard disabled toilet.
