Incinerating Waterless Toilets [Edit]

The EcoJohn Senior doesn’t use water so it not only saves this precious resource but also reduces waste going into the environment.

It looks and works like ordinary toilets except the waste is taken away to a special chamber where it is burnt to ashes. The Ecojohn is gas-fueled which might be somewhat off putting for some people! Any small amount of smoke is filtered through a catalytic converter before releasing to the exterior. You can see a video of how it works here.

The company also has a basic model which is a separating and dry composting toilet. EcoJohn toilets can be used either in the home or for trailers. Their clients also include the US military and disaster relief organisations.
