Marc Bouwer says that all the fashion designers are frothing at the mouth to be selected to design for Michelle Obama and her family.

People Magazine asked some designers to sketch their ideas in case she didn't go with J. Crew on Inauguration Day. Bouwer loves the red, white and blue motif, while Isabel Toledo and Reem Acra take a more glam approach for the new First Family.

Implications - Many designers are excited to dress Mrs. Obama because she is very body-conscious. She is almost like a breath of fresh air for designers who are used to stick-thin models.
