The ILLI Magazine 'Sirene' editorial will take people's breath away, and that's not because it involves water. Shot by the sea, it follows a surreal storyline in which a stunning statuesque creature is found posing fiercely by the surf. That creature happens to be model Mela Werner, who is decked out in dazzling outfits that would enamour any sailor.
Lensed by Elizaveta Porodina, a photographer based in Munich, Germany, the ILLI Magazine 'Sirene' editorial falls in line with her previous work. At once ultra-feminine with a dark, almost gothic edge, the images doesn't follow the typical fairytale-like look in spite of its apparent theme. The elegant outfits were put together by stylist Sarah Nadjar, who accessorized them with dreamy and playful accessories such as star-shaped sunglasses and chunky necklaces.
