I’ve had my portrait drawn by sidewalk artists before, but I would have paid double, nay triple, to sit for just one of Iain Macarthur portraits. These surrealist depictions are sketch wonders. Born and raised in England, these Iain Macarthur portraits create a bizarre world filled with his freakish imaginations. Utilizing pencil, watercolor and pigment pen tools, he takes ordinary people and creates unusual variations through unique embellishments.  Using mostly pencil,watercolours and pigment pens i create portraits of ordinally people but create them in a unusual way by embelishing patterns and watercolour effects into the portrait to give a vivid explosion effect.
