I-Home Boasts Bevy of Eco-Friendly Features, $100K Price Tag

This is the I-Home, an eco-friendly manufactured house design from Jetson Green that will soon go into production courtesy of Clayton Homes. Among its green features include a butterfly roof designed for a rainwater catchment system or optional solar PV system, dual-flush toilets, bamboo flooring, energy-efficient windows, Ikea fixtures, and decking made from recycled material.

The I-Home is named for its layout, which resembles the letter I. There’s even a flex room that features a rooftop deck. The I-Home is rumored to be initially priced around $100,000, but final pricing will be determined by Clayton Homes after they complete their pricing research.
