Create Fruit Candle Holders
Jun 5, 2007By: Gina the Inventor -
A huge hit at the recent Gourmet Show, the Candle Carver turns fruit and vegetables into objects of beauty. Just twist the Candle Carver into apples, pears, mini pumpkins, etc. and it carves a hole that's just the right size for a tea light candle. If you don't like tea lights, no problem, just pour some chocolate or cheese in your fruit and presto...a creative way to serve up some fondue. Better yet, toss a candle carver into a fruit basket and tah-dah...you have a gourmet fruit/candle holder basket. This simple, inexpensive, easy to clean item can turn the most domestically-challenged amateur into Martha Stewart or MacGyver.
