The HP Tree House by mmp architects is a beautiful home raised above the forest floor. This structure was designed to withstand all weather conditions, and provides a sense of relaxation and seclusion.

This house is one floor, and is divided into three separate sections. The main area is the living room, which is full of glass windows that look out to the forest. The roof is flat, which makes it easy to reach the PV installation and solar hot water. The structure is raised by steel supports, and was crafted to be low maintenance structure. This rainforest tree house is located in Cairns, Australia, and it was recently awarded the 2012 House of the Year by the Australian Institute of Architects.
