I could rant on and on about the hassles of vacuuming, and I think a lot of people would agree with me. The constant leaning over is one such pain and of course there’s the dents left from bumping the vacuum into everything, the cord getting stuck under doors, etc. If you have to carry the darn thing all around the house anyway, why not put it on your back and make it cordless? The Continuum studio, connecting Boston, Seoul and Milan, has a great concept called the BacVac, a cordless backpack-style vacuum cleaner, powered by an on-board, rechargeable fuel cell. | I like this more because of the fuel cell aspect, the backpack idea is great if you live in some monster house, or maybe work as a hotel maid. But seeing devices designed to use fuel cells now that's the bomb, I want to rid the world of all cords, fuel cells could be the way. |
