Hilton Maldives Resort: World's First Undersea Restaurant Edit

Looking for a romantic getaway and a once in a lifetime experience for dinner?  How about an underwater restaurant?  The Hilton Maldives Resort has opened the first undersee restaurant, which essentially means that you’re the one in the glass tank, and the fish get to watch YOU.  It’s also great if you want to experience a coral reef without swimming amongst sharks.

The Maldives | 15 April marks the day that the first ever all-glass undersea restaurant in the world opens its doors for business at the Hilton Maldives Resort & Spa. Ithaa* will sit five meters below the waves of the Indian Ocean, surrounded by a vibrant coral reef and encased in clear acrylic offering diners 270-degrees of panoramic underwater views.
