The Vuzix Wrap 920AV Virtual Reality Shades (CES 2009)

As far as video glasses are concerned, the world has of yet only seen ridiculous designs which made you look like something out of ‘RoboCop.’ But alas, Vuzix is releasing a pair of super-smart Vuzix Wrap 920AV glasses.

I am not very clued up on cutting-edge technology, but these video-enabled glasses don’t look too bad—a bit action-film-like, mind you, but that is a cool look, especially if you are snowboarding or participating in Tour de France.

The specs feature virtual reality abilities and are connectible with almost any media player. They include built-in headphones and individual focal adjustments. The price on a pair of these bad boys is unknown, but it will probably all be revealed at CES shortly.
