LightMates to Replace Life Mates?

Can the LightMate body pillow really replace the warmth of human companionship? The talented Francesca Lanzavecchia, who has designed the some amazingly fashionable body braces, has also designed the LightMate, a glowing heated pillow designed for you to cuddle when you need a friend.

Lanzavecchia says “LightMates are soft anthropomorphic pillows and warming lamps. This awfully attractive creature heats, lights and provides company. Their different sizes answer to everyone’s need of heat; a mate to hug or a huge companion you can lay on.”

Personally, I’m thinking that this pillow looks a little like intestines; but if cozying up to the LightMate brings you pleasure, what does it matter how it looks?
