The HYBE ebike from Haibike is a new electric mountain bike that is designed for racing and performance. The bike features a distinctive and eye-catching design, with a carbon main frame and an aluminium rear end. The bike has a gap between the motor and the down tube, which highlights the Bosch Performance Line CX Race motor that powers the bike. The bike also has a kink in the top and down tube, and comes in three bright colours: Pearl Blue, Deep Magenta, and Neon Pink.
The HYBE ebike has 170 mm of travel on the front fork and 160 mm on the rear shock, making it one of the most capable bikes in the Haibike line-up. The bike is equipped with a Bosch PowerTube 750 Wh battery, which can be extended by 210 Wh with an optional range extender. The bike also has a Shimano SLX 12-speed drivetrain, Shimano SLX hydraulic disc brakes, and Maxxis Minion tyres. The HYBE ebike is available in two models: the HYBE 11, which costs € 10,999, and the HYBE 9, which costs € 7,999. However, the HYBE 9 has the standard Bosch Performance Line CX motor instead of the race-specific one. The HYBE ebike is expected to be available in 2023.
