As a creative way to draw attention to the launch of the Gucci 2013 Cruise Collection, the Creative Director of the bran collaborated with world-famous manga artist Hirohiko Araki to create an exclusive Gucci Araki Manga series.
Working directly with Frida Giannini, Araki translated the latest designer collection into this Japanese cartoon style, incorporating the floral dresses, studded wedges and Grecian-style sandals into a story full of passion and vibrant color. The images will grace the storefront windows of Gucci stores all over the world, igniting the imagination and admiration of passersby, giving the public a new way to view the covetous clothing collection.
The Gucci Araki Manga series tells an exciting story about the clothes and is much more interesting to look at then the average bland mannequins.
