Take the highspeed, adrenaline fuelled world of paintballing, add two artists with a good aim and the result is a lightning paced street art that is being dubbed ‘ball-graffiti’

In an area of London synonymous with urban street art, Leake Tunnel, artists from the collective Graffiti Kings, set about creating 10ft by 12ft paintballing artwork portraits of celebrities, Dave Grohl and Johnny Knoxville idolised and chosen by Mountain Dew Energy fans as modern day heros. The graffiti artwork was created using over 1000 paintballs, 30 gas cannisters and a lot of accuracy.

The paitball graffiti portraits were created to launch Mountain Dew’s latest urban art facebook application
(http://www.facebook.com/mountaindewuk), which allows fans to create their own masterpiece. The winning graffiti artwork will not only win £5k but will have their online graffiti artwork turned into an offline masterpiece.
