If you love the feel and smell of well-worn old leather books, you’ll love the one-of-a-kind offerings from GILD Bookbinders. This family company makes journals, books and other bound products with vegetable-tanned leather covers, soft acid-free paper and leather stitches. The GILD Bookbinders journals remind me of the books I imagine old philosophers, royalty and illuminati used to tote around underneath their arms.
