Japanese video game developer Tango Gameworks and publisher Bethesda Softworks are readying to release 'GhostWire: Tokyo' to PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Windows in 2021.
The intense action-adventure game is set in a futuristic version of Tokyo, where supernatural forces have overrun the city and forced out the vast majority of humanity. Players are tasked with destroying these powerful spectral creatures and saving Tokyo from their wrath. Along the way, they'll seek to find out what happened to the city in the first place, using their own psychic and paranormal abilities to defeat the malicious spirits.
The single-player game follows the protagonist using a first-person perspective, creating an immersive experience that takes full advantage of the new console's increased speed and graphic improvements.
