Because all presidents get a commemorative center after completing their term, plans for the George W. Bush Center are underway. And, it is going to be green. The presidential center, which will be located at the Southern Methodist University campus in Dallas, Texas, is designed by New York architect Robert A.M. Stern and meant to pay tribute to Bush.

The George W. Bush Center, estimated to cost around $250 million, is designed with recycled building materials, green roofs, and photovoltaic panels for energy efficiency. Water runoff from the garden will also be harvested for irrigation purposes. Stats for Presidential Ecotecture Trending: Older & Chilly
