Italian graphic designer and photographer Paolo Pettigiani isolates images within the bigger picture to highlight subtle patterns within geometric photos.
His latest photoseries 'E X P O' explores buildings and forms present at the current Universal Exposition 'EXPO 2015,' located this year in Milan, Italy. At a gathering that features several world renowned architects, Pettiginai cleverly explored minimal examples of both geometry and of color present around them. Each photo isolates a specific section of a building, and in doing so, separates it not only from the surrounding area, but also from the original building itself.
