Is your blog having a gender identity crisis? Have you ever read a blog and wondered what the writer had in the basement? Do gender-confused blogs drive you wild with investigative fervor, making you determined to ask the question: did this writer have boobs or not? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, GenderAnalyzer has the answer for you. Simply enter the URL for the androgynous blog in question and GenderAnalyzer will do the work for you. Does it actually work? Well, that remains to be seen. However, both of my sites were returned as being written by a man. Unless GenderAnalyzer knows something about me that I don’t know, I’d say they are pretty off base, considering that I am a feminist and all. Check it out for yourself.  We created Genderanalyzer out of curiosity and fun. It uses Artificial Intelligence to determine if a homepage is written by a man or woman. Behind the scene, a text classifier hosted over at uClassify.com has been trained on blogs written by men and women. In our lab it seems to works pretty well, we want to see how it performs on the web! We hope you like it!
