A team of designers comprised of Seokhyun Ahn, Yejee Park, Cho Yumi, Yumin Shin, Myeongryun Kim, Dohyun Park, Lee Dahye, Kim Geonhee, and Yang Yurim created the Geist smart home device concept. It is an imagined design that looks like a 'ghost' to blend into the background and has a more discreet setting.
The word 'Geist' means 'spirit' or 'ghost' and this concept design is backed by a clear body appearing to be a simple piece of cloth in the background. The structure resembles a cartoon-like ghost and rests on an angle to appear as if it is floating forward. The camera is integrated into the 'eye' and can be turned downwards to protect privacy when needed.
