G.I. JOE Celebrates its 40th Anniversary with a World of Tanks Debut

The G.I. JOE: Real American Hero toy celebrates its 40th anniversary through a new collaboration with the video game World of Tanks. After debuting in 1982, G.I. JOE action figures saw substantial success, delivering a unique and adventurous experience for children throughout the ‘80s and ‘90s. Now, G.I. JOE is celebrating its anniversary with World of Tanks with new 3D styles, female commanders, a themed web event, decals, emblems, and inscriptions for each faction in the game.

Hasbro’s G.I. JOE will star alongside Cover Girl and The Baroness as World of Tanks ‘commanders.’ Both characters will come with special edition tanks called the ‘G.I. JOE WOLVERINE WoT Edition’ for the ‘Strv S1’ tank, and ‘The Baroness C.A.T. (Crimson Attack Tank) WoT Edition.’ Players can also collect decals and emblems from the collaboration. Interested parties can visit World of Tanks’ website for more information on the G.I. JOE 40th anniversary collaboration.
