This plate is made specifically for use while you are enjoying a fresh whole apple. There is a section molded into the shape of an apple bottom which will securely hold your fruit while you carry it to the table. Then once you are finished eating it and are left holding the core, a handy, perfectly-formed divot stores it until you can get to the trash can. How practical is that? The apple dish is part of the Outable project for outdoor dining by the D-Vision group of designers.
