This year, Toronto Pride is hosting an event called 'Fruit Loopz' for the city's queer and trans youth. Although Pride Month is an inclusive event, many activities are geared towards a more adult crowd. This event gives Toronto's queer and trans youth a chance to express themselves and make their voices heard.

The Fruit Loopz event is being held on the Ryerson Quad on Saturday, July 2nd. The event will consist of a festival of arts, words and ideas presented by queer and trans youth. With performances by dancers, singers, musicians, live bands, spoken word artists and poets, the event will showcase talented youth from across the gender spectrum.

The youth-focused Pride Month event helps to shed a spotlight on the narratives of young people across Toronto's LGBTQ community.
