Zaxby's is tinkering with a classic Philly recipe with the debut of its new Fried Chicken Philly.
For those unfamiliar, a Philly cheesesteak sandwich is usually made with thin-sliced sirloin steak, sautéed peppers and onions, and melted cheese (usually American or provolone). However, Zaxby's new version opts for a different star protein: fried chicken. The new Fried Chicken Philly consists of crispy fried chicken, garlic aioli, melted American cheese, grilled peppers, and grilled onions, all served on a toasted hoagie roll. Fans also have the option to swap the fried chicken for grilled chicken if they wish.
The new Fried Chicken Philly can be found now at participating Zaxby's locations chain-wide, but only for a limited time.
