FreshRealm is on a mission to solve a common problem related to America's meal kit obsession: waste. One of the drawbacks to meal kit deliveries is that they generate a tremendous amount of waste due to all the packaging needed to ship the ingredients. FreshRealm's new mini fridge helps to address this issue with reusable packaging.

The 'Vessel' by FreshRealm is a reusable, polyurethane box that is meant for meal kit delivery services such as Blue Apron and HelloFresh. The box measures 17-square-inches and houses five draws for holding grab-and-go-meals or ingredients for prepping different meal kits. The boxes are delivered directly to the customer, who takes out their food and then puts a return label back on the box. FedEx will come to collect the box so that the company can reuse it for future deliveries.

Designed to keep meals hot or cool without all the extra packaging, the Vessel is an eco-friendly solution to the issue of waste generated from meal kit deliveries.
