Italian bathroom brand Agape recently launched an ultra-stylish freestanding sink which presents the ideal aesthetic for the minimalist-modern or subtly futurist home or business interior. A new version of the company's Ell sink, the silhouette is quite paired back with a "simple steel column holding up a horizontal slab [which is the basin]." In order to prioritize slickness and elegance in the design, Agape hid the drainage of the freestanding sink with a gridded surface that covers the basin almost in its entirety.
The designers of the Ell sink drew inspiration from the writings of late Italian designer Bruno Munari. Agape makes this piece available in a variety of materials to suit the diverse tastes of consumers. Options include white Carrara, Carnic Grey, and Black Marquina marble.
