I can’t tell whether Francesco Savini’s ‘Tattoo Time’ subdermal watch is a design concept or an actual implanted timepiece, but either way I’m intrigued.

Francesco Savini’s idea is simple. What he’s calling an ‘electric tattoo’ works with body movements and synchronizes with an outside control—like the clock on your computer. Once you turn your right wrist so that it faces up, the time displays in digital format.
