Four-Legged Wetsuits Edit

It’s a given that most cats don’t like water, but did you know there are dogs that don’t like getting wet either? That’s why there is now a wet suit for dogs, specifically small, rodent-like ones like Chihuahas. The outfit comes complete with flippers, goggles and a tank.

Don’t be so quick to judge! Chihuahuas get cold easily, you know, so this is actually quite practical. If Paris Hilton were into diving, I’m sure she’d bring her Tinkerbell along too!

So what is this get up really? Is it serious? Well, the doggy wet suit was featured as part of a Philippine fashion show, so it does exist and was actually worn by Mondex, the scuba dog. However, I don’t think they’d actually immersed any test dogs in water… at least I hope not.

You really do have to pitty the dog though, especially when he gets peeled out of the suit again, I can’t imagine it would be too gentle on the fur!

While I wasn’t able to find a video of Mondex, this video of a scuba diving cat is even better! The Calico actually dives with her owner!
