Fortnite's Latest Trophy is by Swarovski for FNCS
The FNCS Invitational in Raleigh is the latest major esports event and Epic Games announces the new trophy for the Fortnite tournament. It is made by Swarovski and weighs an impressive 15 pounds standing at 18 inches tall adorned with bespoke heliotrope crystals. Notably, the entire trophy is made to reflect the look of the FNCS shield. The FNCS Invitational is set to take place on November 12th and 13th.
Speaking about the trophy, Epic Games states, "Throughout the trophy development phase, Swarovski created its photorealistic renderings using Unreal Engine, allowing for quick and comprehensive evaluation of the design. Working from Swarovski’s manufacturing headquarters in Wattens, Austria, the team used multiple innovations, including laser plotting, fine grinding, and polishing, to ensure a flawless result."
