The FluDOC is a kind of home pregnancy test, but for the flu. This neat little device will let you know when you have the help of genetically modified bioluminescent bacteria.

Simply put a pill containing the bacteria into the device and somehow get your saliva on the insertable stick, which then also goes in the FluDOC. From there it is a bit of a waiting game. If in fifteen minutes the bioluminescent bacteria have stopped glowing, you had better be prepared to not leave your place for a week or so, because you have the flu.
