SDI Debuted Its WRKkit Concept at Toronto's Interior Design Show

As workspaces are moving toward more dynamic and personalized arrangements to maximize productivity, as well as the comfort and happiness of the user, flexible office systems are beginning to be the new norm. Companies like Canadian design firm SDI offer their modular solutions to the rigidity of traditional work environments and an interesting token of this movement is this DIY-style flexible office system. It was showcased during this year's SDI Toronto and the prototype had a compact box-like aesthetic that playfully nudged the audience to "think outside of the box." The concept was exhibited inside a shipping container — another contemporary architectural favorite of the flexible office system.
