 Philips will soon be introducing a mobile phone called Xenium NRG. Any type of AAA battery can be inserted into the phone, whether it be rechargeable or disposable.  "with a built-in compartment for an ordinary AAA battery to power the device when the battery runs low." "One AAA battery charge is claimed to provide up to 3 hours of extra talk time, and up to 1 week of extra standby time to the Xenium NRG's Li-Ion battery" The Xenium NRG "is expected to be available later this year."
