The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and theory11 have released a new playing card deck called the theory11 x Oscars Gold Foil Playing Card Deck. The playing cards were made in celebration of the 95th Oscars, which featured several historical wins, including Michelle Yeoh, the first Malaysian actress to win the Best Actress category, and Ke Huy Quan, the first Vietnam-born actor to win the Best Supporting actor category.
The theory11 x Oscars Gold Foil Playing Card Deck features graphics that display prestigious-looking figures in luxurious clothing, replacing the standard jack, queen, king, and joker graphics. There are separate listings of award categories on each numbered playing card. The playing cards also feature pictures of the iconic Academy Award trophy in gold. The card box contains precise embossing and gold foil in an opulent appearance. As for the card backs, it is also printed with luxurious gold foil. The playing cards are available for $16.95.
