The 'Food52' blog recently put together a recipe for making a chocolate hazelnut pie inspired by the taste of Ferrero Rocher chocolates. Ferrero Rocher candies consist of a roasted hazelnut encased in a thin wafer shell and covered in milk chocolate. Although the chocolates can be found throughout the year, they are primarily associated with Christmas and New Years.

This recipe turns the delicious holiday sweet into the ultimate Christmas dessert. The pie features a sugared phyllo crust that is designed to mimic the crispy wafer found inside each Ferrero Rocher candy. The phyllo crust is then topped with a chocolate hazelnut spread that mimics the candy's sweet chocolate cream. Finally, the dessert is finished with a milk chocolate glaze and pieces of toasted hazelnuts, which gives the pie a delightfully crunchy texture.

The recipe provide a delicious new way to enjoy Ferrero Rocher chocolates.
