Feng Chen Wang Presents its New Collection for the FW23 Season
London-based designer Feng Chen Wantg unveils her latest collection designed for the Fall/Winter 2023 season which was first unveiled during Paris Fashion Week earlier this year. The inspiration behind the capsule looks to ancient Chinese traditions, nodding to cultural apparel detailed with modern accents. To join the collection, Wang decorates royal halls that overlook the city.
The campaign celebrates the collection's community-centric influence. To do so, it honors a few Chinese practices including “Hundred Families Robes” and other Chinese knots. Other accents include deconstructed emblems that can be seen across the tweed suiting and hanging by the window sills right by the puffed leather sets. As a personal and heritage touch, the designer's grandmother's quilted blankets have been reimaged as bomber jackets.
