Fender and Tom DeLonge of Blink-182 have joined forces to delight pop-punk fans around the world. The collaboration results in a limited-edition Stratocaster guitar that can be purchased on Fender's website for $1,299 USD. The Stratocaster was designed by DeLonge himself and this was a smart move as Blink-182 is having an ultra-nostalgia-inducing tour around the world right now.
Of course, the pastel blue-tinted guitar seeks to o"emulate the distinct pop-punk sound of Blink-182." The limited-edition design features output and turbo-charged tones, single master tone control, and a "C" neck with medium jumbo frets. While overall Fender and Tom Delonge's Stratocaster guitar body draws inspiration from vintage instruments, the original artwork, "created by DeLonge himself," on the neck plate offers a nice and playful touch.
