'Evtric Motors,' the Pune, India-based electric vehicle manufacturer, recently launched its first-ever electric motorcycle, the 'Evtric Rise.' The Evtric Rise is a range-focused electric motorbike with a 2000-watt motor and a 70-volt lithium-ion battery. When combined, the motorbike reaches a top speed of 70 kph, which it can sustain for a maximum range of 110 kilometers before needing to charge.
The Evtric Rise is designed to be charged overnight or while at work, as it takes approximately four hours to charge, meaning it would serve as a large interruption to a cross-country trip. Evtric is positioning this motorbike as a flagship EV that will convert traditional motorbike riders to the sustainable electric sector. Manoj Patil, the founder of Evtric Motors, stated "The bike shall define the true quality experience for the customers who are still otherwise hesitant to switch from ICE to EV."
