Nolan Niu is an LA based furniture designer that is really doing something different. His pieces are not a new version of an old theme. These pieces stand on their own. With EVO, he celebrates, what for years we have tried to hide with cushions and upholstery. The EVO chair completely exposes its structure and uses it as a major design element.

The EVO™ armchair and ottoman is a modular seating concept with components that mix and match to create dynamic seating environments. Its deep recesses are the result of creating three individual seating zones enabling support and comfort for the seat, lumbar, and back. They can also be used for magazine storage or remote controls. Cleaning is simplified with the use of a narrow nozzle vacuum attachment and fallen items are in plan view, eliminating the need to lift up seat cushions to find months of mystery items.
