The Mac is a well known San Francisco mural artist whose art is known around the world. Taking after his mother who is also an artist, he created his own vivid, realistic style. His portraits range from ordinary people to neighborhood history inspired murals.
I have chosen his ever popular sensual female subjects which show a thin line between image and reality. His graffiti art is lifelike, each in its own amazing way. With the eye popping detailed pieces of portraits set on brick, he is adding a different dimension to the street. This an art-form that has been known from the begging of human life, changing, evolving and taking new shapes and forms.
