Looking as if floating in space, the Babylon fireplace employs a suspended ethanol burner for warmth and ambiance. Designed by Stephane Perruchon the unit is portable and can be enjoyed either indoors in a ventilated space or outside on the patio.

Ultra-modern frames in red, black or white hold the hanging fireplace burner, with steel cables fine enough so that they are almost invisible, yet strong enough to hold the burner. 

I absolutely adore the circular shiny red version and would love a table-top model.
