The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) has unveiled its latest initiative, the FairPlay Academy, an online learning platform that promotes integrity among gamers of all ages.
Designed to educate players, coaches, organizers, and fans, the FairPlay Academy offers various educational programs to instill ethical practices within the esports community. The flagship program, the ESIC Anti-Corruption Tutorial, has already been launched. This tutorial is structured to educate stakeholders about corruption, including match-fixing, betting-related issues, and fraud, while providing strategies to mitigate such risks.
“The introduction of the FairPlay Academy marks another step forward in our ongoing efforts to champion integrity within esports.
