EroeGo launched at the end of 2021 in the United Arab Emirates to eliminate food waste in the produce industry. The digital platform sources ugly fruits and vegetables from farmers, markets, and wholesalers across the UAE and delivers them directly to consumers in Dubai.
The home delivery service is packed in EroeGo facilities and delivered to Emiratis every week upon consumer request through the online platform. In the UAE, around one million tonnes of food is wasted each year. Much of this food waste includes fruits and vegetables that supermarkets turn down due to their ugly and imperfect appearances.
