EPHAS, which stands for Every Person Has A Story, is a social business geared toward helping underserved individuals to tell their stories through the use of photography.
The non-for-profit organization partners instructors with willing participants in Rwanda, The Dominican Republic, Cambodia, Haiti and the United States.
Founded by G. Ryan Ansin, the goal of the organization is to train these students in the field of media arts so that they are able to expose places and events to those around the world who may otherwise not be privy to what is happening in other parts of the world.
Working with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity in Haiti and the 1for3 Water Project in Rwanda, the company donates a percentage of the proceeds from sales of the student-taken photographs to programs that help to eradicate poverty and improve healthcare, education and access to clean drinking water.
