Enrich Foods is Selling New Climate-Friendly Rice

Enrich Foods is looking to help consumers make a classic pantry staple a little more eco-friendly with the launch of a new climate-friendly rice.
To create the new climate-friendly rice product, Enrich Foods teamed up with AgriCapture, which is a company that aims to create agriculture solutions that will help solve the current climate crisis. Together, the two companies developed a lineup of organic grains that will be sold under Enrich Foods' Great River Milling brand. As Bill Germano, Chief Operating Officer of Enrich Foods, explains, "Consumers now have a choice to contribute to a sustainable food system by purchasing long grain white or brown rice that has been grown and harvested in ways that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve soil health, and conserve water.”
The new climate-friendly rice will be available from Amazon by early October 2023 and available in grocery stores in early 2024.
