Artist Monique Schreijer created this series of enormous wig editorials, which highlights her talent of making hand-crafted accessories. The six-image series carries a fantasy-inspired theme, as each wig pays tribute to an alternate reality.

Among the six enormous wig series, some themes include a black wig, which represents 'Plague of Marseilles' and a playful pink wig, which represents 'Cotton Candy/Unicorn.' Many of the enlarged hair pieces perfectly mimic the name or theme by recreating a life-sized interpretation. For example, the pink wig looks identical to a cotton candy carnival treat that has been enlarged and placed upside down on the model's head.

Each of the editorials features a hand-crafted wig along with other handmade items by Monique Schreijer. In order for the headpieces to captivate much of the viewer's attention, each image uses a pure black background to reduce external distractions.
