These Empress 1908 craft gin cocktails are unveiled just in time for the holidays and include the Cranberry 75, the Cinnamon 75 and the Rosemary 75.
Giving gin lovers a multi-sensory and Instagram-friendly cocktail experience, Empress 1908 is an all-natural, premium gin that is handcrafted in small batches. Each batch is made in copper-pot stills, and is a "collaboration between Victoria Distillers and the legendary Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria, British Columbia," paying tribute to the hotel's popular afternoon tea service. The gin pairs Empress Hotel's signature black tea with fresh water and traditional botanicals -- including grapefruit peel, cinnamon bark, ginger root and butterfly pea blossom, giving it its unique indigo color.
While the Empress 1908 Cranberry 75 is a sweet and tart cocktail combining gin, cranberry and lemon juices, simple syrup and sparkling wine, its Cinnamon 75 drink is a festive blend of gin, lemon juice, cinnamon and maple syrups, sparkling wine and a fresh cinnamon garnish. Lastly, the Rosemary 75 blends Empress 1908 gin, lemon juice, rosemary syrup, pomegranate seeds and sparkling wine.
