Taiwan-based photographer Zrdyzrdy has created a collection of eerie portraits that feature female subjects. Each image reveals a new location that appears to be inhabitable by human beings. Zrdyzrdy combats the harsh and awkward surroundings by placing beautiful female subjects in the center of each photograph.

The eerie portraits are a contrast between life and death. The living women bring a soft and feminine touch to the cold and lonely-looking settings. Each image portrays a new location and a different story is told with the same characteristics.

Zrdyzrdy uses vacant fields, abandoned factories and shadow-engulfed rooms as backdrops for these images. Each picture is captured with natural light, adding a realistic and raw sensation to the portraits. The females are rarely looking at the camera. They often appear to be gazing down or have their eyes shut altogether.
