The Edelkrone Wing is an affordable way for amateur videographers and prosumers of all sorts to get professional-looking shots. The small, hinged device attaches to any tripod and swivels across a central axis when operated, using precise, CNC-crafted gears to keep the lens facing the same direction while the camera moves horizontally.

The device effectively mimics the function of a slider while costing a fraction of the price and folding up to a size barely larger than a smartphone. Its small size shouldn't fool anyone, though -- the Edelkrone Wing is made from solid aluminum and stainless steel. Weighing in at 1.2 pounds, the device can hold a 3.3. pound camera when fully extended.

The manually operated device also has a friction control dial that allows consumers to control the speed of their tracking shot without having to worry about jerkiness.
