What could you make with a chainsaw, a tree stump, ice, and a garbage bag?  If you guessed a place to chill your beer, then that’s right! You can make an eco-friendly cooler!

The concept was developed by Ana, a contributor of Apartmenttherapy.com, who details this fun do-it-yourself project.

By using a chainsaw to hollow out an existing tree stump, and lining the hole with an ice-filled garbage bag, one can eliminate the need to pack a cooler during a short trip to the wilderness.

What’s even more beneficial, is that the stump can still be used by others after the initial creation!
